Alanya is the largest resort centre at the eastern end of the Antalya coast, and it owes its skyline to the castle on the peninsula reaching into the sea. Walls from the Seljuk period wrap the entire hilltop; the old quarter inside, with its wooden houses and narrow lanes, is still a living neighbourhood. At the foot of the peninsula, the Red Tower — an octagonal brick structure from the same era — is the city's emblem.

The city stretches between two main beaches: the long sands of Cleopatra Beach to the west and the Keykubat shore to the east, where the hotels concentrate. The sea caves — Damlataş, Pirates' and Phosphorus — are the classic stop on boat tours. Alanya's nightlife also sets it apart; the strip of bars and restaurants along the seafront is among the liveliest on the Antalya coast. Behind the city, the Dim River valley and Dim Cave are where people go to cool off.

The airport journey to Alanya is one of the longest transfer routes on the Antalya coast. It runs along the D400; most of it is comfortable, though after Manavgat some sections narrow to a single lane and get busy in summer. Over this distance vehicle comfort is felt directly — our Mercedes fleet keeps the long drive from becoming tiring. With flight tracking the vehicle waits when you are late, and service continues for night arrivals.

Alanya spreads over a wide area and hotel addresses are scattered across points far apart — the city centre, the Keykubat shore, Kestel, Mahmutlar and Konaklı to the west — sometimes more than twenty kilometres between them.
