Boğazkent is a quiet coastal town just east of Belek, at the point where the Acısu stream meets the sea — and it takes its name from that narrow river mouth. The area has stayed clear of Belek's concentration of golf and luxury resorts, keeping a calmer structure of mid-sized family hotels; the beach is long, the sand fine, and it is noticeably emptier than the busy shores of Side and Belek.

The wetland at the river mouth adds something of its own: it is a rewarding spot for birdwatching, and the farmland around gives Boğazkent a rural texture rarely found elsewhere along this coast. The ancient theatre of Aspendos and the city of Perge are close by, and Köprülü Canyon rafting trips also run from here.

Boğazkent is reached from the airport along the D400 highway, a straight and comfortable road. Near Serik you leave the main road and drop down to the shore; that access road is narrow with little signage, and the turn-off is easy to miss, especially at night. Our drivers know the route and take you right to your hotel entrance.

Most properties in Boğazkent line a single road running parallel to the shore; the hotels sit close together and the addresses look alike, so there is a real risk of arriving at the wrong one. Writing the hotel name in your booking is enough. Neighbouring Belek is a few kilometres west and Side about half an hour east; we arrange transfers in both directions.
