Çıralı is one of the few stretches of the Antalya coast that concrete never reached. Ringed by orange and pomegranate groves, this flat plain lies with the shadow of Tahtalı Mountain behind it and almost three kilometres of pebble beach in front. The beach being a nesting ground for loggerhead sea turtles decided the area's fate: its protected status means no high-rise hotels can be built here. Accommodation is limited to small guesthouses, wooden bungalows and boutique hotels, and even beach lighting is banned at night. That restriction has made Çıralı one of the clearest places to see stars on the Mediterranean coast.

The area's two great assets sit at either end of the beach. At the southern end, where the stream meets the sea, lie the ruins of ancient Olympos; walking among laurel and oleander you come across sarcophagi, bathhouse walls and a monumental gate. On the northern slope is Yanartaş — where natural gas escaping through cracks in the rock has burned without going out for thousands of years, the ground behind the ancient Chimaera legend. The flames show best after dark, which is why an evening walk is the classic Çıralı routine. The beach walk between the two takes about half an hour.

The journey from the airport has three stages. First the Antalya ring road, then the coastal highway through Kemer and Tekirova, and finally the roughly seven-kilometre narrow mountain road that drops to the sea from the Ulupınar turn-off. This last stretch is two lanes, winding and unlit at night; the time maps give rarely reflects reality. That is exactly why drivers unfamiliar with the route run late. Our team uses this road regularly, so we predict the arrival time correctly and keep a safe pace on night landings.

Addresses in Çıralı are unusual too. Most guesthouses sit on unnumbered lanes between orange groves, signs are small, and navigation apps often leave you at the public beach car park. So that you never have to walk a garden track with your luggage, our drivers bring you to the door of your accommodation. On the return we collect you from the same door, and for early morning flights we plan the pickup time together with your hotel.

Our Çıralı transfer price is fixed — no surcharge for night arrivals, high season or the mountain road. The price is set the moment you book and printed on your voucher. Most visitors stay a few days for the Lycian Way, the Olympos–Yanartaş circuit or a boat trip to Suluada and Adrasan bay.
