Çeşme sits at the tip of the peninsula west of İzmir and has some of the clearest water in the Aegean. The Genoese castle in the town centre and the bazaar around the harbour form its historic core. The area is also known for its thermal springs; at Ilıca the hot water rises directly from the seabed, and at certain points on the beach you can feel the water warming.

The peninsula's truly famous spot is Alaçatı. Preserved with its stone houses, purple bougainvillea and narrow lanes, this town has become one of the most imitated settlements in Turkey through its restored boutique hotels and architecture. Alaçatı's second identity is windsurfing: the shallow water in the bay and the strong, regular wind make it a world-class surf centre. Çeşme's sandy beaches — Ilıca, Altınkum, Pırlanta — line the peninsula.

The journey from Milas-Bodrum Airport to Çeşme is among the longest routes we serve, running through Aydın and İzmir to reach the peninsula. Most of it is motorway, which makes the long distance comfortable. Even so the drive is long — vehicle choice and break planning matter on this route. Our Mercedes fleet, with stops when needed, keeps the journey from becoming tiring.

The Çeşme peninsula is large: Çeşme centre, Alaçatı, Ilıca and Dalyan are far apart and different in character. Vehicle access to Alaçatı's stone streets is restricted, and for most boutique hotels the last stretch is on foot. Our drivers know this limitation and take you to the closest possible point.

Our Çeşme transfer price is fixed — despite this long distance there is no surcharge for night arrivals or season; the price is set at booking and printed on your voucher. İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport is much closer to Çeşme; if you have not yet booked your flight we would suggest considering that option. We also arrange region-to-region transfers towards İzmir.
