Çalış is the long stretch of shore northwest of Fethiye and, although joined to the town, keeps a distinct character of its own. The beach mixes pebble and sand and runs straight for kilometres. What the area is known for is its sunset: because the shore faces west, the seafront fills in the late afternoon with people watching the sun drop behind the islands across the bay.

The walking and cycling path along the shore is Çalış's backbone, lined with cafés, restaurants and small hotels. A water taxi runs between Çalış and Fethiye centre — crossing the bay to the marina, it is both quicker and more enjoyable than the road. At the northern end of the beach, the Çalış bird sanctuary wetland makes a quiet walking route.

The airport journey follows the Fethiye route: across the Dalaman plain, down through the Göcek tunnel into the city, then out to the shore — about half an hour of easy driving. As traffic within Fethiye can slow in summer, our drivers choose the route according to live conditions. With flight tracking the vehicle waits for delayed landings.

Hotels in Çalış are spread across streets running parallel to the seafront road, and many carry similar names, so there is a real risk of arriving at the wrong property. Our drivers know the local hotel entrances and take you straight to the door. Fethiye centre is minutes away and Ölüdeniz about half an hour; region-to-region transfers can be requested.
