Arriving in Kaş from the west, from the Dalaman side, is an entirely different journey. The route drops onto the Lycian coast after Fethiye and reaches Kaş by way of Patara, Kalkan and Kaputaş. Kaputaş Beach along this stretch — the turquoise cove where a canyon opens to the sea — is visible from the roadside, and most of our guests ask for a short photo stop here. Compared with approaching from the Antalya side, this route is both shorter and richer in scenery.

Kaş itself is a town built on a slope, closely bound to the sea. The Çukurbağ Peninsula stretching just west of town, with its panoramic boutique hotels and villas with pools, is the area's most sought-after place to stay; from the tip of the peninsula the sunset and the Greek island of Meis appear together. A ferry from the harbour makes a day trip to Meis possible.

The drive from Dalaman to Kaş takes roughly two and a half hours, most of it on a mountain road winding along the coast. Altitude changes constantly along the way, and the section after Kalkan is particularly twisting. Vehicle comfort is felt directly over this distance — our Mercedes fleet keeps the journey from tiring you, and because our team uses the route regularly we give a realistic arrival time.

Accommodation in Kaş falls into three areas: the narrow streets of the town centre, the Çukurbağ Peninsula, and the Küçükçakıl–Büyükçakıl shores. Some boutique hotels in the centre lie at the end of passages too narrow for a vehicle, while villas on the peninsula are reached by one-way, steep roads. Our drivers know all three areas and take you to the closest possible point.
