Söğüt is a small village on the eastern shore of the Bozburun Peninsula, facing Hisarönü Bay. It is one of the quietest spots on the peninsula: a few jetties on the shore, olive groves and mountain slopes behind. There are no large hotels, no nightlife and no crowds — people come here for exactly that silence. The bay is sheltered and the sea calm and clear.

Söğüt is really known from the sea. Blue cruise boats call at this bay on the Hisarönü Gulf circuit, and the jetty restaurants in the village fill with guests coming ashore. Across the water, Orhaniye's bay — known for the shallow sand spit called Kızkumu — and Selimiye are a short distance away. The olive grove tracks around the village are good for walking.

The journey from the airport is long. After the Sakar Pass the road enters the peninsula via Marmaris; from there it is single-lane and winding, with a steep final descent to the bay. There is no lighting at night and signage is limited. Because our team uses this route regularly we give a realistic arrival time and keep a safe pace on night landings.

Accommodation in Söğüt consists of small guesthouses and boutique properties, most on the single road beside the bay or on the slope. As the road is narrow it may not be possible to stop in front of some properties; our drivers know the nearest suitable point. The neighbouring coves of Selimiye and Bozburun are a short distance away.
